Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it plain. If anything is unclear, contact us (below).

Information we collect

• Account: when you sign in with Google we receive your name and email. You choose a display name and handle.
• Profile: optional bio, avatar, city/country, and the social platform handles you choose to link.
• Activity: the clip links you submit, your logged view counts, Barracks progress and XP, badges, and Plaza messages.
• Prize mailing address: only if you choose to provide one to receive physical prizes. Stored separately and visible only to you and our staff.
• Payments (creators): if you fund a campaign, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Device tokens: if you use our mobile app and allow notifications, a push token so we can send them.

How we use it

• To run the platform: your account, chambers, leaderboard, and clips.
• To count views toward the shared goal and power campaigns and prizes.
• To keep the community safe (moderation) and to contact you about your account.
• To send physical prizes you've earned, to the address you provide.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers to operate: Supabase (database/auth), Vercel (hosting), Google (sign-in), the YouTube Data API (public view counts of clips you submit), Stripe (creator payments), and Resend (email). Some profile fields (display name, handle, badges, public leaderboard standing) are visible to other members by design.

Cookies

We use cookies strictly to keep you signed in and to remember your theme choice. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

• Edit or remove most profile information at any time in your profile.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
• Remove a saved mailing address at any time.
• Turn off app notifications in your device settings.

Children

Clippers4Christ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Data retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to run the platform, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard measures (row-level security, encryption in transit) to protect it, though no system is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you.
